The Company

Emmepiemme Srl stands at the forefront of Ohmic Heating technology, delivering a diverse array of high-quality systems and solutions to the food industry and beyond.

Since 1993, we’ve been dedicated to advancing this innovative heating method, ensuring efficiency, safety, and product integrity in thermal processing.

Ohmic Heating food processing
Our Journey

The inception of our Ohmic Heating technology dates back to a 1993 R&D initiative, launched in collaboration with a microwave company specializing in food processing. This partnership brought together expert engineers to pioneer the application of Ohmic Heating in the food sector.

During the initial phase, various prototypes were developed and successfully implemented in Italy. These early installations underwent extensive evaluation and calibration across different product types. At that time, Ohmic Heating was an emerging technology with limited public information and minimal collaboration among research centers.

Despite these challenges, our empirical research yielded promising results. From the outset, our primary objective has been the industrialization of the heating process and the reliability of the associated hardware. Over the past two decades, we’ve equipped approximately 130 plants across four continents, underscoring our commitment to quality and innovation.
